Visiting Gernika and learning about Basque history was interesting for me, as I am part Basque. Viewing the villges of Mundaka and Bermeo and the Biscay countryside was also worthwhile. Augustin's knowlege of the local culture, history and particularly gastronomy is impressive. I also enjoyed seeing how Bilbao had changed since the last time I'd visited, 25 years ago. What also impressed us was Augustin's friendliness and willingness to change things along the way to suit us.
